Tail
Wagging Success Story: Molly
Molly
enjoying full use of all her legs again
Molly,
a pointer cross, was a year old when she had a
femoral head osteotomy. When she came to Tails of Rye
for an initial evaluation her leg was severely
atrophied and she was not using it at all. Her
physical therapy regimen included laser, ultrasound,
e-stim, walking on the underwater treadmill and
swimming. After rehabilitation light agility work was
added for strengthening and exercise.
