Video Demo of Zeus Walking on the Treadmill in the AquaPaws

If Internet Explorer restricts this webpage from running scripts of ActiveX controls, you will have to click on "Allow Blocked Content" to view this video.

Zeus is a twelve year old Pug referred to Tails of Rye by his veterinarian for neuropathy and hind leg ataxia. In addition to building strength and increasing range of motion, the buoyancy of the water improves proprioception (or limb awareness) by re-educating the muscles. Using the height of the water as a stabilizing force allows ataxic patients to correct their balance.
